Jasmine Kocie is an artist, folk herbalist, nutrition focused cook blending food and medicine, intuitive energy worker, emerging writer and teacher and a mushroom enthusiast and beginning cultivator. She first studied herbal medicine in 2016 after many years of studying energetic healing work. Under the direction of Ginger Webb at the Sacred Journey School of Herbalism in Austin, TX she uncovered a deep seeded love for plant medicine, inspiring further studies under other influential and revolutionary healers, scientists and visionaries in such topics as: Astrological and Alchemical Herbalism, Phytochemistry, Foraging, Fermentation and Wild Food Preparation, Mycology, Primitive Skills, Ethnobotany, Energy Grids and Vibrational Medicine. She is also a Wilderness Herbal First Responder through the Human Path in San Antonio, TX. Following a long, spiraling journey of gathering and sharing more branches of healing around the western states Jasmine landed in Bend, OR where she is putting down some mycelial roots to grow her visions of what wholeness, art and community can be.
